Greece has approximately 1,330km of toll motorways, managed by different motorway companies, whose payment is mandatory for all types of vehicles.

The AEGEAN company offers an electronic device at no cost (Eway), which can be purchased after registration online (it will only be sent by postal mail to addresses in Greece) or at different customer service points within the country, which is the only one that includes all the companies operating the road networks.

Each motorway company has its own device.

  • ZONES/ ROADS/ ROUTES

    Most of the motorways are subject to payment, governed by different motorway companies: Attiki Odos, Olympia Odos, Moreas, Aegean, Nea Odos, Kentriki Odos, Egnatia Odos and the Rion-Antirion bridge.

  • TOLL-ELIGIBLE VEHICLES

    All motor vehicles.

  • TOLL CHARGES

    Each of the motorway companies has its own commercial and discount policy and the cost depends on the route travelled and the category of the vehicle, subdivided into 4:

    • Category 1: motorcycles.
    • Category 2: passenger cars or light vehicles with or without trailers up to 2.20m high.
    • Category 3: vehicles with or without trailers, with 2 or 3 axles and a height exceeding 2.20m.
    • Category 4: Vehicles with or without trailers, with 4 or more axles and a height greater than 2.20m.
  • PAYMENT METHODS

    The Eway device must be recharged at any service point of the Aegean motorway company, as well as the following alternatives:

    • Online in myeway.gr by credit or debit card.
    • By phone at +30 2410 741440, by credit or debit card.
