Slovakia has an electronic registration system (OBU/vignette payment) that is time based (10, 30 or 365 days and for the rest of the current year) for light vehicles, which can be purchased online and/or at points of sale distributed throughout the country and borders.
Slovakia is included in the Vrio Plus multi-country toll system for vehicles with a total weight of > 3.5 t.
There are vignettes for vehicles and trailers, requiring the purchase of one for each when the total weight exceeds 3.5t.
Whether it is prepaid or postpaid, registration can be done on site at the different distribution or contact points. The registration of the company to obtain the OBU / pay the vignette, can be done online at the previous link. However, the device must be collected at an authorized border point.
